Welcome to AD'NOVEL. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the AD'NOVEL website and your purchase of our products and services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

AD'NOVEL is a design-led sustainable brand creating handcrafted jewellery, gifting solutions, fashion accessories and lifestyle products, primarily using wood and engineered wood materials.

1. Our Products

AD'NOVEL products include, but are not limited to:

• Earrings, pendants, brooches, pins and buttons
• Keychains and fridge magnets
• Tea coasters
• Photo frames
• Gift hampers and gifting solutions
• Custom-designed and personalised products

Our products are designed and handcrafted with attention to detail. Because many of our products involve handcrafted processes, slight variations in colour, texture, grain, finish or appearance may occur. These variations are a natural characteristic of handcrafted products and should not be considered defects.

We aim to represent our products and colours as accurately as possible; however, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.

2. Sustainability

Sustainability is central to AD'NOVEL's design philosophy. We seek to use materials responsibly, minimise unnecessary waste and create products intended for long-term use.

Our products are primarily made using wood and engineered wood. We do not claim that every material, finish, adhesive, coating or packaging component used in our products is fully biodegradable.

Where possible, we focus on responsible sourcing, durable construction, thoughtful packaging and giving materials a longer and more meaningful life through design.

3. Custom Orders

AD'NOVEL accepts selected customised and personalised orders.

Customisation may include changes to:

• Design
• Size
• Shape
• Engraving
• Colour or finish
• Quantity
• Packaging
• Personalised messages

All customisation requests must remain within our sustainable material and production practices.

Custom orders are created specifically for the customer and may require additional production time. The final price and estimated delivery timeline will be confirmed before production begins.

Once a customised order has entered production, it cannot normally be cancelled, returned or exchanged unless the product arrives damaged, defective or materially different from the agreed specification.

We can also explore customised sustainable Rakhis and other seasonal gifting products upon request.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

As many AD'NOVEL products are handcrafted and produced in limited quantities, certain designs may become unavailable or may take additional time to reproduce.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable after payment has been received, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution, which may include an alternative product, a revised delivery timeline or a refund.

5. Pricing

All product prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed and paid for.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, customs duties or other charges will be communicated to the customer where applicable.

6. Payments

Orders must be paid for through the payment methods made available on our website.

An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully received and the order confirmation has been issued.

AD'NOVEL reserves the right to cancel an order in cases of suspected fraudulent transactions, incorrect pricing caused by a technical error, or other circumstances where fulfilment is not reasonably possible.

7. Order Processing & Shipping

We aim to process and dispatch orders within the estimated timeframe displayed on the product page or communicated at checkout.

Customised and made-to-order products may require additional processing time.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on the destination, shipping partner, weather, public holidays, unforeseen events and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping partner, delivery is subject to the shipping partner's terms and serviceability.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and contact information. AD'NOVEL cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

For international orders, the customer may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.

8. Returns & Exchanges

Because AD'NOVEL products are handcrafted and many are produced in limited quantities, we follow a carefully controlled return policy.

Eligible non-customised products may be returned or exchanged only if:

• The product is received damaged or defective; or
• The wrong product has been sent; or
• The product materially differs from the confirmed order.

Customers must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide photographs or videos clearly showing the issue.

To review a damaged/ defective/ wrong product claim, you must email info@adnovel.in within 24 hours and include:

• Your order number.
• Clear photographs of the outer packaging and the damaged product.
• A clear unedited video showing the condition of the package and item.

If the required evidence is not provided within the 24-hour window, we may not be able to process compensation.

Products must be unused, unworn and returned in their original packaging where applicable.

Products that have been worn, altered, damaged through misuse, exposed to unsuitable conditions or otherwise used after delivery may not qualify for a return or replacement.

9. No refunds or returns

All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests for change of mind, incorrect preference, gifting decisions, delays outside our control, or natural variations in wood grain, tone, texture, and finish.

10. Non-Returnable Products

The following products are generally not eligible for return or exchange:

• Customised or personalised products
• Products made specifically to a customer's requested design
• Products altered at the customer's request
• Made-to-order products
• Products damaged after delivery through misuse or improper handling
• Gift cards or other non-returnable products where specifically stated

Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

11. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take care to inspect and package every order before dispatch.

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us at info@adnovel.in within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

1. Your order number
2. Photographs of the product
3. Photographs of the packaging
4. A brief description of the issue
5. A video of the unboxing, where available

We will review the claim and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, repair, exchange or refund.

12. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed through the original payment method or another legally permissible method.

The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Shipping charges may not be refundable where the return is due to a customer's change of mind, subject to applicable law.

Where a product is confirmed to have been defective, damaged before delivery or incorrectly supplied by AD'NOVEL, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

13. Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation before an order enters production or is dispatched.

Customised, personalised or made-to-order products may not be cancellable once production has commenced.

To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at info@adnovel.in with your order number.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the AD'NOVEL website, including but not limited to logos, photographs, product designs, graphics, text, illustrations, packaging designs, videos, branding and other creative materials, belongs to or is lawfully used by AD'NOVEL and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be reproduced, copied, modified, distributed or commercially used without prior written permission.

Customisation of a product does not automatically transfer ownership of AD'NOVEL's underlying design, artwork, techniques or intellectual property.

15. User-Submitted Content

If you submit photographs, reviews, testimonials, designs or other content to AD'NOVEL, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.

By submitting content for publication, you grant AD'NOVEL permission to use it for legitimate brand, marketing and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.

We will not knowingly use your personal information beyond the purposes permitted under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

16. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to interfere with the website's security or operation
• Copy or reproduce website content without permission
• Submit fraudulent orders or payment information
• Misuse the website or its content

AD'NOVEL reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where necessary to protect the business, customers or website.

17. Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party services such as payment gateways, delivery partners, analytics providers, social media platforms and other service providers.

Your use of such services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

18. Limitation of Liability

AD'NOVEL will take reasonable care in designing, producing, packaging and dispatching products.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AD'NOVEL shall not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including delays caused by shipping providers, natural events, government restrictions, technical failures or other force majeure events.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

19. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

We may collect information necessary to process orders, provide customer support, process payments, arrange delivery and improve our services.

20. Changes to These Terms

AD'NOVEL may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services or applicable legal requirements.

The updated version will be published on this page with the revised date.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.
